Passes are not valid on special events such as Open Cockpit Days and Space Expo. Passes can only be used once per day per library. These passes must be checked out through the library, which will provide either a physical or digital pass for a specific day. Q: What are library passes and how can I use them?Ī: We partner with a selection of local libraries to provide reduced admission for visitors. Aircraft in restoration are not available for public view, as the hangar is an active work site. The storage hangar is available on Sundays in the summer from 10:00 AM- 2:00 PM. Aircraft in storage are only available for viewing when the building is open to the public. Can I go see it?Ī: Our collection rotates periodically. Q: The aircraft I'm looking for is in storage or restoration. The outdoor area is weather dependent and is closed for the winter months. We like to refer to the outdoor exhibit as our "Restoration Park", as the aircraft stored there are generally awaiting preservation and are not fully restored. ![]() The veteran discount does not apply to dependants.Ī: Yes! There are less than a dozen aircraft located outdoors at any given time. This includes a valid Department of Defense ID card, Veteran Health ID card, Veteran ID Card (VIC), DD-214, or a Veteran designation on a state-issued driver's license or ID. What do I need to get the discount?Ī: We require a government-issued proof of service. Other add-ons, such as the Redbird Simulator, are available at an extra charge. Q: What is included in standard admission?Ī: Standard admission allows visitors to see all exhibits and aircraft within our three main hangars. We do have a selection of model cockpits that are located throughout the Museum and can be accessed without docent assistance. ![]() Our aircraft are historical artifacts, and as such, cannot always withstand the traffic of an open cockpit experience. Open cockpits are an additional experience that may not always be available. A: SELECT cockpits can be opened based on docent availability and discretion.
